DVI Female to Male HDMI Adapter
The DVIF-HDMIM-ADPT is a DVI female to HDMI adapter. This is not a bi-directional adapter and will only work when used to carry a DVI signal from a source to an HDMI display. It is most often used in conjunction with a DVI cable to go from a computer’s video card output to an HDMI television or monitor. Although there are many other possible uses, this adapter is compatible with DVI-I and DVI-D signals only. Switching from analog signals to HDMI always requires a converter. DVI is also a video-only format. Although HDMI can carry audio, this adapter will not.
