The JCD398 USB-C® Dual 4K HDMI™ 10Gbps Mini Dock is great for adding two 4K UHD displays to your laptop PC including MacBook® computers with the Apple® M-Series chip. Its compact size makes it suitable for desk environments that lack space. The USB™ ports support up 10Gbps data transfer rates for connect high speed storage devices and other devices. Supports Power Delivery 3.0 for up to 100W of power passthrough for laptop and tablets. One Gigabit Ethernet port is included for high-speed network connectivity.
System Requirements:
- Windows® 10 / 11
macOS® 10.14 or later - Available USB-C® port that supports DisplayPort™ alternate mode and USB™ Power Delivery 2.0/3.0 or 3.1 Please refer to the manufacturer of your computer for more information about your device
- The host device must support DisplayPort™ 1.4 to achieve 4K resolution at 60 Hz.
Special Notes:
- Driver installation is required for macOS® and Windows®. If the computer has network access and administrative rights, Windows® can automatically install the driver when the device is plugged in.
- The adapter can connect to a USB-C® port that doesn’t support Power Delivery, but it will not pass power through the connected device.
- A 4K-capable display is required for obtaining the 3840 x 2160 resolution
- If you are using a high-powered USB™ device, attach a USB-C® power adapter to the power delivery port to ensure maximum performance. When using the USB-C® power adapter, the multi-adapter powers both the adapter (with attached peripherals) and your laptop.
