USB4® 8K Multi-Port Hub
This high-performance USB4® multi-port hub incorporates the latest USB4® controller offering compatibility with Thunderbolt™ 4 and older USB™ specifications.
With up to 40Gbps of throughput, dynamic data, and display bandwidth allocation for efficient display data flow, you can easily create a high-definition monitor setup. Enjoy up to 8K resolution and access data faster without affecting system performance. Additionally, it has three USB™ SuperSpeed+ 10Gbps ports (1 USB-C® and 2 Type-A) for charging or connecting peripherals. It is also equipped a USB-C® Power Delivery port to charge your laptop and power your connected devices with up to 100W of pass-through power.
System Requirements:
- Available Thunderbolt™ 4, Thunderbolt™ 3, USB4®, and USB-C® host laptops
- GPU and video source:
- DisplayPort™ 1.4 alt mode with DSC supports 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144Hz
- DisplayPort™ 1.4 alt mode without DSC supports 8K 30 Hz or 4K 120 Hz
- DSC = VESA® Display Stream Compression (DSC) Standard. Only available on NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 20 Series and AMD™ Radeon™ RX 6000 Series GPUs or above
- Recommended Graphics Cards: Intel® HD Graphics 620, Intel'® HD Graphics 520 or above
- Notes: Macs supports up to 4K 60Hz on an 8K HDMI™ display
Special Notes:
- DisplayPort™ 1.4 is required on graphics card and video source to achieve 8K @ 30
- DisplayPort™ 1.4 and Display Stream Compression (DSC) is required on graphics card and video source to achieve 8K @ 60
- A 4K-capable display and cable is required for obtaining the 3840 x 2160 resolution
- If connected to a USB™ 2.0 host port, or if using a USB™ 2.0 host cable, performance may be limited
- The adapter can connect to a USB-C® port that doesn’t support Power Delivery, but it will not pass power through the connected device
- If you are using high-powered USB™ devices, attach a USB-C® power adapter to the power delivery port to ensure maximum performance. To avoid disruption, do not remove the power adapter while copying files.
- We advise no more than one (1) bus-powered/portable external hard disk drive to be connected to the adapter at a time
